  1. Hi EOs
It had been quite long time since our last walk since the haze suspension.
Glad the fire had rekindled so to speak.

I would very much like to join the walk but had to give it a miss due to a relative’s wedding dinner on that same day.
All you walking kakis enjoy yourselves.

Tks EOs for organizing this walk
    Cheerio

  3. Hi Chris, Serene & Alice,

Ann & I look forward to this walk. We’re coming all the way from west to the east because of the beach walk and the carrot at end of the walk – the famous chendol at the Bedok food centre. Hope it’s still there!

    Cheers!

  5. Hi,
    I’m also from the west.
Will be visiting my mother in the East and if time permits will be there at the Bedok MRT station to join you folks for the walk.
It’s been a while since I last walked with the group.

  6. Hi Seok Cheng, Eddy, Margaret and Amy

Welcome to the walk. The weather looks good today and hope it remains this way till end of day.

We shall aim to start punctually. Late registrants may still register and join us.

  7. To Serene, Alice and Christina, thank you for the well planned and the well organised walk, much appreciated.

To the others, thank you for the wonderful company.

  8. Thank you all for the company and support. We are glad you all enjoyed the walk, the fresh air and the company. When Alice and myself first recce the route, we were concerned that it may be too long. Anyway we made it and for the record, here are some details for your record:

    Distance covered : 8.4 km
    Time taken : 2-1/2 hours
    Calories burned: 388

    Photos would be uploaded soon.

  9. Dear Serene & Alice,

Thanks so much for making the pre-walk recee which must have made the walk very smooth. Are you now raising the ante for us? It’s 8.5 km and everybody’s up to the challenge. Or have you all done it before? It was very fulfilling for the walkers – thank you! Next time, hope we will do the distance again..

Glad that we all made it without any fuss and everybody was looking forward to the pot at the end of the rainbow – the yummy makan-makan that we all enjoyed together. Iyo, that super fresh ayam penyet cost $8.00 only and can feed 2!

    Cheerio!

  10. Dear Alice and Serene,

Thanks again for organising yet another fun albeit slightly taxing walk I certainly enjoyed myself though my pal Evon was close to screaming for help in the home stretch certainly will join in your next outing if I can.

    warmly,

    Shawn Soh
