After that, may cycle down to F1 Pit Building and park my bike overnight for OCBC challenge at 7.30am.

  3. Hi Yew Kwong

I always like to cycle but no kaki. Now I have new friends.
Please count me in on the standard cycling. I am a casual cyclist. I guess the start time is 4pm for me. Please correct me if I am wrong. Thank you.

  4. Hi Yew Kwong, Jade,

I shall join you for the cycling, and will be most happy to drag the newbies along.

For those who are new, come along and join this healthy weekend exercise. It’s an activity you wont forget. Keep away from the burgers though. C u soon.

  5. Hi Yew Kwong,

Sob sob.:( 21st Feb your cycling day coincides with my departure to KL and then to Penang so as to celebrate my grand nephew’s 1yr. old birthday. I had not seen him since he was born.

I will be “out of service” for abt 2 weeks. Ha! ha! Ha! ha!Ha! ha!Ha! ha!Ha! The Laughter Exercise catches on.

I am v.happy that I am still able to join X’stina Chan, Charles Wee and others for the grand and sxciting ” Valentine Walk ” along the Marina Barrage this coming Sat.14 Feb.

  6. Katherine Soh (#17),

I support Yew Kwong (#18) as I was in similar situation before. I am now able to cycle. You CAN make it just press on.

    Cheers,
    Grace Kok

  7. Hi Yew Kwong,

  11. Hi Douglas,

I like to join you for the longer ride. Douglas, which part of Changi Village can I wait for you? At what time roughly?
I will be riding from Tampines. Anyone from there too?

    Thomas Goh

  12. Hi Thomas G #36

Welcome to our cycling club, if we start off around 3pm from McDonald ECP, we should be at the CV hawker centre by 4.20pm.

    regards

  13. “……start off around 3pm from McDonald ECP……..at the CV hawker centre by 4.20pm.”

Last year I raced with him. I took on wings and was out of the block in a flash and he was still trying to figure out whuch is the front/back of his bike.

Then the sky darkened and there was one streak of lightning across the sky.

When I was hurling towrds the finishing line, there he was, locating the front/back of his bike in as a dazed a look as he was. That fast.

So, yes, Thomas-G, do take Douglas-C very very seriously. The only fear is, he might shoot himslef so fast & so far that he ends up on a bed in selangor watching some raunchy video clips, forgetting that he is to meet you at CV…….

  14. hi YK
pls register albert tan and I for the ride. have not decided to go for long or short distance. will depend on which direction wind blows then be able to go with the flow and cycle faster :~)

  15. Hi Maggie

I m afraid there wont be any wind blowing either direction. The only available is the east north “???” which most would not like.

Anyway, long ride starts at 3pm n normal at 4pm.

  16. Hi YK,
Will drop by around 3pm with Peggy for social cycling. She (Peggy) still “L” plate, like to knock dust bin and go into ‘long kang’ but need the exercise.
    So c u Saturday.

  17. Hi Douglas,

I really look forward to be with you and especially Tim but unfortunately,I have to give it a miss as my dear uncle passed on this morning at the ripe age of 96. The funeral will be on Sat late afternoon, thus clashing with the ride timing.

I will join you on another time with my blue old bone-shaker. Thanks for remembering me, Tim. Please take his comments with a pinch of salt…I was on my green motorised bike then.

    Happy riding!

  18. Hi Yew Kwong,
Weather permitting, Lynn and I will meet you at McDonalds ECP. We are both cycling from home and have not decided whether to join Douglas and co for the long ride. Anyhow, we will be there in time (ie at 3pm or 4pm) once we have decided.
Lynn doesn’t like the sun too much.

  19. Weiwei TaiLor,
My boss, Mr John Howe, had requested to submit his name for cycling event on his behalf due to his heavy work schedule as he is unable to do so.. Signed by Sexytary.. Dolly..hehehehe

  20. Hi again Yew Kwong,
Please note that Lynn is CHAN Wai Lin, a SHCian too albeit new. She is not a relative of mine but a very close family friend who is at the moment staying with me to keep me company since the demise of my husband.

  21. Hi Friends
