Hi SHC friends
Both my husband and I have just joined the club and we hope to participate in some of your many interesting activities.
We have two grown up children, one working and the other still pursuing tertiary education in Melbourne. Having had worked in the hectic corporate world for a few decades, I have recently decided to call it a day to spend quality time with the family and also to be kind to myself, have fun and enjoy life a little bit (instead of work, work & work)! Thus I would certainly look forward to making more friends and have a more fulfilling life! May I wish all of you good health and happiness!
Cheers
Catherine
Welcome, Mr and Mrs Kuah
Welcome to SHC, Catherine.
I joined SHC only a few months ago, and although I have not been able to join fellow SHCians much in their activities, I have always enjoyed myself when I was able.
Perhaps you could share some of your interests with us? I am sure you will find likeminded people in SHC that you can connect better with.
And oh, a warm welcome to your hubby as well!
Andrew #01:
Welcome Mr & Mrs Kuah?! Why so formal? :o)
Cheers,
Ron Koh
(The ‘Koh’ added only to differentiate myself from the half a dozen or so Rons in SHC)
Welcome CatherineKuah & Mr. Kuah to our Community. Here you can make lots of friends. Come to this Saturday’s Walk at Sembawang Park( see Posting) and get to meet many of us. Cheers
Hi All
Thanks much for the warm welcome extended to us!
I like to do some exercises to keep fit, bowling (not a good bowler though, only slightly better than not going to the “lokang”!),trying out new recipes and “makan” places!
Charles, thanks for inviting us to the Walk but this Saturday, can’t make it cause going overseas for a holiday; hope can join you guys the next time.
Btw, My husband’s name is Ronald, sorry for not introducing him earlier.
Catherine #4:
(Sigh) Another Ronald … and my mum thought that naming me after Ronald Coleman was such a unique thing .. :o)
Welcome, Ronald (Kuah)

Hi Catherine & Ronald Kuah
Most welcome to our fold “The SHC”, my wife Alice and I are keen bowlers, we do bowl every week for fun n exercise, either at Orchid Country Club, West Bowl, Civil Service Club at Tessensohn Rd or NTUC Downtown East, Pasir Ris.
Hope to meet up with you n your hubby one of this day for fun bowling and with other SHCians.
AS you have had just retired, you’ll have time to bowl during the day, the cost per game is only $1.50 to $2.00 per game. depend upon the venues.
Am also your hubby’s namesake, in order not to mix-up with so many RONALDS, I’m RonLai.
