Tan Chin Boon – Profile

Hi folks

Profile of a new kid on the block – Tan Chin Boon

At last, it took me two days to find this empty site just to add in my personal profile as "demanded" by our President and founder of SHC Mr. Terence Seah. So, to begin with, why not modify this website from time to time to make it more user-friendly. That’s my first comment for the day. See, I told you giving my FRANK thoughts sometimes hurt and there may be repercussion. Ok, sock it to me, pal.

That’s my basic attitude to you, but back to serious business i.e. my profile. Now, what can I say about myself? Oh, I’m a guy of course. Ex-banker, now happily retired and "gainfully unemployed". Spending my time on golf 4-5 days a week, two days on gym, internet news and trading, emails, walking my favourite pet dog Bam-Bam practically every day, cycling with him in a ragged bag on the handlebar,  listening to jazz music, and killing time on my 42" plasma TV with solid HBO, Star Movies, AXN, ESPN, National Geographic, Discovery, etc and a host of reality shows. But primarily to keep fit and trim at all times.

For the guys, I participate in Mahjong and Russian poker sporadically. Apart from golf, I used to bowl (pretty good at it but no longer), take active part in big walk, cycling on my mountain bike for miles on end but age forbids that nowadays, swimming at the beaches overseas while holidaying. I love to travel and did quite a bit too, to various countries mostly on own itinerary. In fact, WAYN website has me registered for travel up to 14% of the countries in the world. Of late, I travel with golfing friends to nearby countries like Thailand, China, Philippines, and Indonesia, the last being Guangzhou in January. So, any of you guys plan any travel programme with golf in mind, do let me know. BTW,  I travel more on budget airlines nowadays.

For the ladies, I am no longer the old-fashioned MBA, but a triple A (available Anytime, Anywhere, Anyplace) for karaoke, movie shows (only the blockbusters like the Red Cliff and The Mummy – tomb of the dragon emperor. Prefer to watch HBO for free), group gathering for makan, and now at SHC, social dance.  I’m not sure about golfing with ladies, coz they tee off at ladies’ teebox and you can’t talk the men’s talk, ya. Karaoke wise, I croak only the older English songs like Barry Manilow’s hits, and the newer Chinese songs like Jackie Chan. Normally I let the crowd sing first to feel the vibes before I select the appropriate songs. So bear with me, ladies.

There is something about SHC that attracts me. First of all, I wasn’t made aware of its existence through S.T. ads but a chance meeting and chatting for the first time with Steven Chan at a dog show 2 days ago. Browsing through the various forums at the SHC website, I note there are a lot of vibrancies and cheerfulness among the in-crowd. There are lots of activities to participate in apparently, and you ladies are such a wild and enthusiastic bunch. I was taken aback by the response when I chipped in my little comments here and there, people who don’t even know me or what I might look like. But they sound like old friends already with their spontaneous dialogue. This is so different from my usual groups like the NUS alumni, Dunearnites, and Ex-UOB colleagues with whom the usual activities are monthly gathering over lunch or dinner, occasional outings or karaoke, but that’s about it, no dialogue through forum on website, no active involvement to stimulate the mind, and any activities are mainly individual arrangments.

But there again, it’s too soon to judge the validity of this statement. I shall have to wait and see what goes on in the coming months at SHC. Basically, I’m a BIG BORE!emoticon

  1. Hi Chin Boon,

You appear on this forum like a movie star! You dare to ask for a slim leading lady and get away with it. To the extend of asking for a massage, you are also spoilt for choice perhap a chubby one. Well, we are here to please!

Glad that you feels at home here, what’s with the vibrancies and hilarity here! Life is what we made it to be, so let’s live to the fullest.

It is interestingto know that you separate your male and your female activities and very candour about it!

Stay in tune, we look forward to rub shoulder with you.

  2. Hi Tan Chin Boon,

I know a younger guy name Tan Boon Chin, not sure how you are related. But you seem my kind of guy, playing golf and joking on the course, travelling, cycling. Do you play any musical instrument by the way, looking for more jamming members to form a music club.

We are having a golf game on the 12th at NSRCC and there is one more slot, so do you want to join us.

Also do tell us about short golf trips, TS and me might just take up your suggestion especially about the Batam course for $35 a round.

  3. Do you play at WGCC on weekdays? I am not a member and never played there before but keen to try. I use the driving range there because it is nearest to my house.

Hope to have a game with you someday and share some ‘man talk’.

  4. Hi Chin Boon,

    1) Thanks v. much for your interesting profile.

    2) It was V. Good of you to post your FRANK comments here and there. Not to worry abt others who chose not to agree with you. Just FEEL as you WRITE as long as it is within the “confines” of SHC rules n Reglns.

    3) ….and you ladies are such a wild and enthusiastic bunch. I was taken aback by the response when I chipped in my little comments here and there, people who don’t even kFRIENDS already with their spontaneous dialogue. This is so different from my usual groups like the NUS alumni, Dunearnites, and Ex-UOB colleagues.

True enough, wait till you Break Dance with them and you really feel they are like “sisters” to you after a few times.Dancing is their favourite pastime. And if you are into SERIOUS dancing , you are an ADDED BONUS.

    4) Hey, you are here looking for SLIM ladies.
Sorry we do NOT have the Papaya Sisters or Durian sisters as in the movie 881,but for consolation we do have our own SHC brand of “Chop Stick” sisters.Guaranteed Slim to your expectation.

    5) Finally,I am V. HAPPY :>) , that you took the initiative to participate ACTIVELY in our forum and SHARE your views.

  5. Hi Chin Boon,
Just wanted to say hello to you. Look forward to meeting you sometime, to discuss trading & banking stuff etc. Also, will be sure to see you on the dancefloor sometime!

I sure learnt something new from you too…All this while, I thought Triple A referred to credit ratings (of which there are few now due to the ongoing sub-prime crisis) ;-)

  6. Hello Chin Boon,

Here’s a warm welcome to the retired “new kid on the block”!

For a fleeting moment, I thought you were someone I used to know, only to realise afterwards you have a different family name.

Very impressive profile indeed. Well, not to worry, no rating you Moody’s Triple A or Double A.

Actually what caught my eyes was RED CLIFF. I came home just a couple of hours ago after watching that movie. It’s well past my bedtime now, but I feel as fresh as a daisy. Must be all that violence & bloodshed keeping me from falling asleep. So, what do you think of the movie??

  7. Hi Chin Boon,

After “demanding” for SLIM pretty ladies and
Lina Ng( 1.69m ) has responded by twirling you,the dwarf 1.73 cm. around ….

you still now want them to MASSAGE for you on your back
    and g _ _ _ n. Ok.

I get “mamasan” Merry Chen to service for you. Ho boh?

  8. Chin Boon.
Welcome to SHC. I can see you have already made some friends. Enjoy. :-)
Also want to say that I’m in no way related to or wish to be associated with any crude comments made by Steven Chan.

  9. Hi, new pals at SHC

Whoops! I got up unusally late at 9am this morning and look what I found, EIGHT new buddies already to share laughter with. You jovial people certainly make my day. BTW, your indivivual remarks also appear on my email too. Is this the wonder of IT?

To Mary Chan: Not to worry. Right now I have only GOOD feelings about SHC and its lively people. So how can I possibly see anything crude or offensive other than with a cheerful sense of humour in everything I read? Steven himself gave me a good impression the other day and I believe his “crude” comments to you are merely jokes and that’s how you should look at the world at large. Similarly, I trust nobody takes offence in whatever I write other than with a barrier of fun and laughter.

Oi…Steven: I share your sense of humour, but I guess ladies generally are more sensitive and want more respect from us chauvinistic men huh. Afterall, what’s a “papasan” for, man? BTW, how SERIOUS can you get in dancing for that added bonus? But “chopstick” sister, aren’t they too skinny? I’m all for medium rare, slim but not skinny, that makes perfect dancing.

Hello Gingko: You find Red Cliff too much of “violence & bloodshed” that kept you from falling asleep? My, you’d be better off watching that soppy “Money Not Enough”. Why, I love every bit of it altho’ I know it distorts the real history. The only regret is that it ends without any ending but a suspense for part II. This show reminds me of “Troy”, and I watched it 4 times already on HBO.

Hi Doreen: Nope. Dunearnites refer to those who stayed at Dunearn Road hostel while studying at the Singapore U till the 80’s when they moved to the present NUS Shears Hall. They try to merge the 2 groups, Dunearnites & Shearites, but due to different age groups, I personally feel this is out of place.

Yoo…Jonathan: I presume you’re a banker too ya. Internet trading was good in the last 2 years when market was bullish and everyone makes money. But this year the bear came in strong and hurt your pocket. So it’s time to lay off and enjoy life and try something new, like social dancing. See you at the dance floor, but don’t expect me to dance with you ‘coz I’m allergic to men as far as that is concerned.

To Lim Tian Soo: WGCC offers morning flight on weekdays to guests at $40 for 9 holes I think. BTW, you need a handicap card to play at WGCC. I play on Tues and Thurs morning at 7am till 9.30am with my own trolley, and go for the massage chair (in absence of SHC chubby masseur) for 1/2 hours. I feel refreshed and ready for battle of sexes thereafter.

Hi Ronald Wee: The Tan Boon Chin I know was a very rich lady who was my client but unfortunately I never got to marry her, so no relation there. I used to play piano, organ and guitar when I was a braver young junior and formed my own band taking part in talentime till varsity days, but no more. I lost touch with the instruments, except my organ which is not suitable for jamming purposes. I do enjoy musical talent performance though and often go to Esplanade waterside theatre on weekend nights for any jazz show.

Golf game at NRSCC on the 12th? On lah. Count me in as well for the Batam trip at $35 (for senior citizens and excluding the massage I presume).

Hi Dan: Wow, the way you guys welcome me, pretty soon my shoulder will be rubbed off to the bone. But only the ladies rub shoulder with me huh, I’m that way inclined. Men strictly for golf, sports, and men’s talk. See u this Friday.

Overall, I’m glad my profile attracts an assortment of postings and comments that exude warm welcome. You guys are awsome I must say.

    Yours truly, Chin Boon

  10. Hi Chin Boon,

You’are really what SHC needs to get the ladies motivated, me too, another avid golfer, seems we should be planning a golf trip to the Phillipines(never been there, and like the Spanish traced singers). What say you TS and other golfers, ladies inclusive. Dont worry Joan will make it to Perth one day too.

Also how about brushing your musical skills,we need to get a band going in SHC lah. About not being able to jam anymore on your old organ, perhaps Tim may know about a magic portion to last maybe to complete a song.

Yes you are right Chin Boon a lot of people here to be good friends and Mary easily one of bubbly and happy going one either on the MJ table or the dance floor or anywhere, good travelling companion too, also on the forum as usual. If you are setting up a old age home, you wont be short of good company to keep us happy.

Others maybe a little shy but wait till you get to know them. Cheers, see you at the Teebox the 12th Sept but let us have a game one week day soon, as I have a day off for National day.

  11. Hi Chin Boon,

Welcome to the SHC world. Didn’t expect to bump into you on this forum. I definitely know you but not sure if you still remember me. We were colleagues in the late 70s/early 80s…you know where lah. If I mention certain names (your existing contacts), you might be able to recall this mysterious woman here. According to SHC rules, outsider names are not encouraged on this forum. Want to know more? Write to me at LKYIVY@hotmail.com

I must say you have not changed a bit…still very cheeky and always a live wire. SHC has a lot of nice people around, enjoy the friendship and the endless list of activities in the club. Hope to meet up with you soon.

    Cheers
    Ivy

  12. Hi Chin Boon

Welcome to the SHC family, from one ex-banker to another ex-banker, going through your profile, it seems you are a well-rounded man, participated in varied activities. As you are a good bowler, why you gave up the game? If you are still interested in bowling, one of these days we could fix up for some games. Understand that you are also interested in dancing, if so, there are several programmes coming in October at the Esplanade, please do join us.

    RonLai

  13. Hi Ronald WIE

Just to make sure I spell your surname correctly this time. Sorry about that. Philippines (this time your spelling is incorrect) is generally not quite safe to go, so I wouldn’t venture to lead a team there. I went to Manila 2 years ago with 2 friends and a 4th was a fellow banker who was posted there. He knew the place like the back of his hand and we had a great time golfing, among other things. BTW, who’s Joan, of Ark? Thought she made it to heaven in tattered body, not Perth.

As for music, it will take times before I regain my confidence to play again. Hey, I was joking about my organ,
which isn’t as old as you think.

Mary sounds like my kind of gal, bubbly, happy going, MJ, travelling, a go-getter. If she can do massage too, I’d marry Mary. But old age home? Gosh, what do you think I am, a cranky old man on walking stick? That’s 20 years more to go, pal.

National Day being a public holiday, golfing is too expensive to do unless you have a club. Let just keep it on 12th and keep me posted of the place (not sure where) and time. See ya!

    Chin Boon

  14. Hi Ivy Low (hong Kong)

Why, Ivy, do you lie low in Hong Kong? Frankly, I can’t remember you. So tell me which night club did we last date?
In the late 70s, aha, of course I know where lah, coz I was still a swinging bachelor then. Er…, we didn’t kiss, did we, as colleagues, mystery woman? C’mon, give me a hint, give me some juicy names at chinboon@yahoo.com or else I can’t sleep tonight. Btw, what are the other SHC “rules” I should abide? So strict meh?

How to change? The day I change I’ll become an old man already. And how to meet? You in HK and me in S’pore – too far to hold hands lah.

Hope to see you too, chick.

    Chin Boon

  15. Hi Ron

Thanks for the invitation, but I’m as good as giving up bowling these days due to weight problem. No, not my light weight, but the 14lb ball which I used before and still have it. After a couple of games, my arm feels like dropping and my thump starts to blister, and that affects my golf badly. So it’s a choice either a big ball or a small ball. Wisely I prefer the tiny balls which don’t hurt, and more fun too. Let’s just keep on dancing and singing huh, among other activities.

Oh my, it’s past midnight already. Ho-hum, time for bed for little boys. G’nite!

    Chin Boon

Oh, Steven, Mary Chan or Merry Chen, what’s the difference? Just marry both of them and be merry. Cheers!

  16. Hi Chin Boon,

No was not talking abt playing on National day, I meant i get a day off to play on a weekday where it will be cheaper. NSRCC or Safra is opp of Tanah Merah Country club. On the 12th SEpt we have 2 complete flights now teeing off around 2pm, followed by a game debrief, wine, dinner at the Bungalow and country line dance and singing.
By the way I usually play free after 5.45 walking 9 holes at the cheapest but the toughest course in Singapore as it the military course. But the good thing is I can keep in touch with many top exbosses, meet many friendly people from all professions, who enjoys golf.

Recently played with a heart doctor, who teaches me to how to strengthen my heart, while I teach him how to use his short iron more effectively. I can arrange a game on Mondays for about $50 for guest if you or anyone else are keen, to try this hilly, dog leggy, difficult forested course.

Sorry about short iron, guess you dont need any help there from Tim or me, that is good, so you can look for the 19th hole. But seriously need another guitarist or organist. Have just join the Tanglin music club as Lydia’s guest and you can see the fun they are having reliving and singing old songs of Elvis, Cliff Richard, and all.
Yes about bowling agree to that, it affect your swing too much, but badminton which a group plays on Sundays is better as it helps to co-ordinate your body, rhythm, stance, and weight transfer. Cheers

  17. @ #12 “About not being able to jam……..your old organ, Tim may know about a magic portion to last maybe to complete a song”.

Ronald-W, truly and indeed. Yr organ isnt so old but a bit koyak so when you asked me for a magical portion (when you shd hv said potion), I shafted the longer portion of my magical broom into yr rear. With better than the best of jet propulsion, you flew thru doors and out thru windows, btwn the legs of giraffes, hitting trees, knocking down durians and over-turning cages of chicken and crabs……….

Yr fantasy flight for asking a portion of my magical broomstick lasted longer than was needed to complete not a song but an album. Lucky or unlucky you?

  18. Chin Boon.
“Oh, Steven, Mary Chan or Merry Chen, what’s the difference? Just marry both of them and be merry. Cheers!”

Who are you talking about “marrying both of them”? I LOL and couldn’t stop laughing. I wouldn’t touch him with a long pole, that loon.

Well, you seem to be getting along very well and receiving a lot of invitations. Enjoy. :-)

  19. Ron Wi,
How kind of you to say those nice things about me. You see what you have done now? People are trying to ‘marry’ me off already, hahaha.
Hey, want to have a game of MJ when I return? Will try to arrange for a session at my place.

  20. Chin Boon (@ 17)

Please read my email to find out who are the ladies in my group. SHCians are just beginning to taste your nonsense. I admit that I’m no match…must get Tim Liu and Mary Chan to “handle” you. With Tim and Chin Boon together, SHC is going upside down and inside out…have a good time teasing and laughing, friends.

  21. Hee Ivy Low.
Me? “handle” them? You must have a lot of faith in my ability to do that.
I’m a nice, kind, cheerful person, that is, until someone treads on my foot. I can’t compare with Tim Liu lah. Besides I don’t use vulgarities, hehe.
From what I read in the comments, you seem to know Boon Chin quite well. Tell us some of his secrets, can? ;-)
Btw, when will I ever get to meet you huh?

  22. Steven Chan,
I know well your innuendos. We all need reading glasses, but YOU NEED A NEW BRAIN. You are probably spiralling down into senility or lunacy.

You have blasted off your loud mouth several times before and have had to take back your words and apologise. I have been quite forgiving before, but you better be careful with what you say in the future or you may well land yourself in hot soup or worse, be sued for defamation.

Go and find out the meaning of the word “mamasan” before using it on anyone, whether it’s me or “Merry Chen” (a cowardly move actually, to ‘twist’ my name).

  23. hi Mary Chan,
No need to use vulgarities lah, just bombard with your Queen’s english. Hey, let me clarify to the world…I DO NOT know Chin Boon very well hor…don’t get me into hot soup. It is more interesting to find out about others secrets on your own…but please let me know what they are later, hor ;))

Ya, we’ll get to meet up one fine day…travelling schedule not fixed yet. C ya

  24. Ivy, hor mah? Tang kong Heong Kong ee ka hoe yit, yow 40 dor kam ko, lei you tor yam liong char, boe zong san dai hor.

Tim ah liu orr ee ka bin cho hor chai lor, yau jiu to mun dou hau zong lim keng, bin kwai zor lor.

Steven, you and I got into a bit of entanglement before you were rested. You returned a changed guy and is my good butty now. But I did remind you not to shoot off too quickly as sometimes what you want to mean conveys a lot more than what you think it means.

Mary-C is like my sister…….cute, feisty, wants to win all the time (no sweat, let her win lor, she happy, I heehee, Sengh no headcahe to mati).

So perhaps Steven, you shd avoid jokes that poke a yoke and get some of faces smeared unintentionally. You have been wonderful organising many activities and that will surely make you a name to gain in the ultimate game i.e. finding yr sweet sexy dame, and not getting flamed till lame.

    Hor ng hor?

  25. hi Tim,
I heard you…dor chay kwan sum. Temperature moh 40 dole but got typhoon yesterday.

Wah! nei ho kwai war, jarn ng jarn kah? sei seng lan kwoi ah…ng moh min keong woh…hahaha

  26. Hi Chin Boon,

……Who are you talking about “marrying both of them”?
I LOL and couldn’t stop laughing.

I wouldn’t touch him with a long pole, that loon.

Marry her ?????, You must be kidding.
She can be my grandmother. Ha! ha!

  27. Hi Tim ,

…Tim ah liu orr ee ka bin cho hor chai lor, yau jiu to mun dou hau zong lim keng, bin kwai zor lor. you speaking Vietnamese????? we don’t understand.

  28. Steven Chan.

I’m not ashamed that I’m older than you. Everybody knows that. You don’t look and I’m sure, feel HALF as good as I do. You got the cheek to try and make yourself younger than you are, CRAZY OLD MAN. Me, your GRANDMOTHER? NOT SHY. HAHAHA.

I’m off to lunch with some very SANE people.

I do not wish to spoil Chin Boon’s post by wasting my time and energy sparring with you. You can have the floor.

Apologies Chin Boon for this. I wish you a good day and have fun with the one who’s not so right in the head.

  29. “Jarn ng jarn kah?” Heee, Ivy, jarn chi doe mo kam jarn. Yan ji chor, seng pun sin so yi sei seng doe wui koi keh. Ng sai ge loi, gou lor Steven doe yak yiong wui bin kwai chai dan hai koi sin yiu mi bek si gor, tong koi chin fei………

    Steven, hold your horse lah.

(Sorie Chin Boon, this will be my last digress in yr thread……surely, it’s unfair to cause a chim wound in Chin Boon)

  30. Boy oh boy, my profile site is getting too hot to handle. It’s being used for sparring session and I see so many funny words and languages which I know not. And the two quarrelsome pair, perhaps some kind soul at SHC pls tell them they should just kiss and make up. After all, my impression of SHC is that it’s such a friendly lot of great people out there. But then I thought again that in the West, people are offered boxing gloves in a boxing ring to settle a score. The more civilized East grants the entire karaoke floor for them to sing love songs to chill off. So, what say you, people, TRUCE now? BTW, nobody needs to apologise for such exuberance on my post. This is afterall a reality of life. The trick is to let it out and then laugh it off. So let’s have more, the show goes on!

  31. Hi Ronald Wie (so as not to confuse with Ron #18)

You sure know how to pick a real tough military course at Safra with its hills, dog-legs, & forests to kill a mocking bird. I played there once some 15 years ago. From your description of the short irons teaching a heart doctor to swing, I guess you must be a single-handicapper huh. Do give this poor 24 (or more realistically, 28) handicapper a break, will you? I’m such a short hitter that the distance from my longest iron probably equals to your shortest one. No betting the first time, ok?

I thought the songs of Barry Manilow’s songs are old enough, but Elvis & Cliff Richard? Nah, I think I have to skip your musical group. So is badminton, which was my first sport, then switched to tennis (took a long time for that follow-through from wristy smash), and finally squash that caught me out of breathe many a times. They are for kids. Thanks for the tips anyway.

    Chin Boon

  32. Oui…, Mary Chan, the name is CHIN BOON, not Boon Chin per your #24. Catching the habit of your good friend Steven in name twisting? Or the younger friend of Ronald Wie, Tan Boon Chin @ #2 mesmerizes you? :-)

  33. Hi Chin Boon,

    1) I am V.Happy for you NOT only that you make so many comments in SHC forum BUT also received a lot of comments from SHCians as well. That’s a good sign.

Do enjoy yourself and enjoy dancing with the slimmers.

  34. Hi Chin Boon,

You wanted slimmers, then massages and now
…..But “chopstick” sister, aren’t they too skinny? I’m all for medium rare, slim but not skinny.

Medium rare, you want it more bloody.
When have you turn into a man eater lately? hee! hee!

  35. StevenChan…apa macam?..don be naughty boy.be kind & gentle, especially to women.Mana boleh cakap marah2..nanti lekas tua,siapa suka?…haha

    ChinBoon @33…cannot anyhow kiss & makeup lah…banyak susah!..can shake hands & bow bow,smile widely..grin gleefully..boleh lah :)

  36. To Ms Apa Macam lady Norlina
Apa ini? Selalu ngomong Bahasa sahaja. You Malayu ka? Saya tak erti lah.

    To Steven the Dark knight
Listen to your pal says at #27 with sound advice especially the last para. “you shd avoid jokes that poke a yoke…..etc”, and I bet she will ultimately throw her arms around you instead of her tantrums, whoever she may be. Cheers!

  37. Hi all,

Chin Boon, the tough commando course is not at Safra but Sembawang, Safra is easier, flatter with wider forgiving fairways and big greens. Single handicapper 10 years ago when younger and on Arizona courses where I actually playing, spend almost 8 years in/out of that state of Singapore.
No worries about betting, will leave it to Tian Soon to work out the odds, but maybe a token for drinks.

Now we hear you can croon, like Barry or is it more like Julio ‘To all the girls i known before’ and seems some keep coming back for more, “a private invitation”??

Mary, I guess you got to invite Chin Boon too, to your MJ table, or maybe another Malaysia trip, he seems quite a fun guy without being too noisy?

Ok will send you and email when i arrange a weekday game with the rest of the SHC golfers numbering close to 15 now.

  38. Chin Boon,
sorry, got a bit dyslexic lah and got your name wrong. let’s not talk about that insect.
Some people just enjoy spoiling other people’s fun and poularity and will write anything to draw attention away to himself. He probably needs another round of medication, hee.
Anyway, if you are interested, I may arrange for a MJ session when I return.

  39. Ronald & Mary

If You are all intent to hassle me on Golf (token for drinks? Hey, I don’t even drink) and MJ (born loser here), I’m all game to chip in my contributions for a small stake, not too much though. But maybe an orgy… opps, wrong spelling, organised trip to Malaysia for adventure will suit me fine. Count me in.

And Mary, there you go again, calling him name will inevitably invite more repercussion. Shall we call it a truce once and for all? Maybe I buy both of you an ice-cream to chill off ya? Smile, and the whole world smiles with you!

  40. Hi Chin Boon,

    1) …..let’s not talk about that insect.( Who is name calling now ? )

Some people just enjoy spoiling other people’s fun and poularity and will write anything

…..to draw attention away to himself.??????????????????

At 1.92m , Alamak. I command more than enough attention where ever I walk.

I wish I could be born a little shorter preferably around the ideal height of 1.82m so that there is NOT so much attention directed at me. Ha! ha!

  41. Steven

Hush and ssssssssshhhhhhhh! Enough of your lovers’ quarrel lah. Let’s just enjoy singing and dancing the night away huh. And let your great height of 1.92m reaches even the greater height of relationship at SHC. Cheers!

Oi, give some encouragine words to our new recruits Josephine and Daisy leh. Even a new cock like me have something to say, let alone old hand like yourself.

  42. Chin Boon.
Can you please stop referring to the exchange of WRITTEN words between the stick insect and me as a “lovers’ quarrel”? You may be trying to help but please, I HAVE HARDLY EXCHANGED A VERBAL SENTENCE WITH THIS CREATURE IN PERSON. I have no idea why I’m the brunt of this weirdo’s rude comments and I don’t wish to know.
There are many other people I can associate with in SHC. So please drop the subject.

Birds and the bees, those are my favourite subject. You sure you can talk so much about them? Ok, we shall talk when we meet, But just talk talk ya, like NATO (No Action Talk Only).

Gasps! Ugh! Choke! I can sense anger directing towards me from above your post. I’m neutral and stay neutral, and want no more part of this. So, chapter closed. Period. Somebody else help pls, and write something nice and humourous to close my profile.

  45. Chin Boon, no anger directed at you.
You are a new comer and don’t really know what has happened before and I appreciate your attempt at helping. Thanks for trying.
Anyway, I agree with you. Chapter closed. Just have fun and stay happy and cheerful.
Have a happy national day! :-)
