    Since all contact have been removed from the post, I just wonder how if a member need to contact Sylvia, will it be quite difficult.

    Should Sylvia be allow to at least put her email here. I think your idea of prohibiting any form of contact is carrying to the extreme!

    Though it seems that member who post their mobile contact put themselves at some form of risk, I do not think that it is justifiable as most of us are over 45 and what have we not seen or exposed ourselves to.

  4. By now?the Rules are quite clear?

    Persons organising events born out of the Club are Event Organisers (EOs), and we have TGIF Freaky Nite, Cyclings etc. He gets everthing planned and organised, and is the person you look for and usually also look up to.

    Events which are coordinated by a SHCian e.g. Improvement Talks, Laughing Exercises etc in which he, who has also to participate in that event, brings it up for other interetsed SHCians to join, He is called the Event Coordinator, the contact oerson liaising with the external Organisers. No direct contact with the outside party is allowed. Fair enough and necessary so.

    However, like Dan-H, I demurred from the need, in the name of protecting SHCians, to obliterate and delete a SHcian’s mobile number which he volunteers to give for all and sundry, including non SHCians logged in to read. It’s a risk adults (btw, the legal age has been dropped from 21 to 18 recently) should personally take responsibility for. Once that’s understood, we should let him do as he likes.

    Members may contact one another, through the use of this forum. They have and are also allowed to leave their email address in the post or comment.

    You have written a short and brief explanation of the role and function of the Event Organiser and the Event Coordinator. Saves me some work. Thank you.

    Unfortunately, the club would not promote the names and contacts of external organisations and non-members.

    This platform is free for members use, and not for use by non-members.

    If there are members who feel that advertising should be allowed, we may allow for “paid advertising” in the future.
