Keeping this event alive as ordered.!     emoticon

Although Changi Beach Park had received good reviews during last month’s cycling cum pot-luck gathering, most veterans requested to go back to ECP – Siglap Park Connector. 

First time venture into this connector was led by Douglas in Aug.  So, we are going to re-visit it again this month.  Most likely, the mid-rangers will stop at Kembagan MRT for a cuppa while waiting for the long-rangers to come back from their Bedok circuit.

  • As usual, we meet @ 4pm : ECP Marina Cove MacDonald (inside)
  • Proceed to bike rental kiosk @ 4.30pm

    Anyway, do have a safe trip and enjoy yourself. Beware of street urchins. They are rampant.

    Thanks for your support and keeping the cycling event alive.

    Its the 1st OCBC cycling event in KL so don’t want to miss it. After the KL event, may make another side trip up north as a reward.

    Will join you again in next month’s cycling, ride safe and enjoy.

    How many coming for this event? I only see absentees on the comments but some names the post???

    Is it still on? Or has it been cancelled?

  11. No food, no cyclists? Or is it the route? Most cyclists don’t like to dismount and climb the stairs or the slope to cross the bridge. Or perhaps they don’t want to cycle to Bedok Reservoir, bad luck!! 3 bodies now found there.

    Maybe you should change the route next time.

    I’ll join the group, maybe cycle the other way to Kallang.

  12. Lily and the cyclists….

    I just touched down from the mountainous Nepal. Travelling for a week on a bumpy dusty road, up and down the mountain has proven too much for me. I need to recharge my energy, so may wish to miss this Saturday cycling. Sorry lah… :(

    For Nov cycling, Douglas have got a surprise for you. I will not reveal anymore till he finalised the plan. So, stay tuned ok?

    We will take a break for Dec and start afresh in 2012. Hence Nov will be our last monthly cycling for this year.
