SHC Whatsapp Chat – Gardening

garden2   garden1  It does seem the Whatsapp Chat can be very popular; and a new topic under Whatsapp Chat on Gardening will be created. I shall be the administration, although I am no gardener.

This Whatsapp Chat – Gardening is for SHC members who loves gardening, and who likes to share their plants and flowers with fellow members. Hopefully, gardening hobbyists will find new friends, meet one another and exchange plants, shrubs, flowers and fruit trees.  I guess you can also exchange grass, weeds, seeds and tree trunks.  Have fun.

Simply let me know if you like to join SHC Whatsapp – Gardening, and you will be put in touch with one another.  Please stay within the topic Gardening if you wish to stay in the group.  You may removed yourself from the group at any time.

  1. Hi Terence
Please include me in the whatsapp chat. Currently I am growing herbs like mint, dill, basil, laksa leaves and chives in very small quantity.
    Thank you

  2. Our Whatsapp Chat – Gardening is going on well. Although some beginners, the interests in plants among the group would definitely attract more SHC members who have the time to plant plants, flowers and vegetables in their balconies.

To catch up with the Gardening group, do join the chat now.

  4. Re Whatsapp Gardening, I have accidentally deleted myself as group admin. Dont know what to do, cannot add, cannot delete and cannot comment. I found out the Whatsapp system automatically assign the group admin to another member of the group. In this case, the system assigns group admin to Ong Lin Khim. This is Fun.

I understand the group is happy without me as admin. So guys/gals, you may still join Whatsapp Gardening by registering here. I shall now leave it to Ong L K to moderate the Gardening group.

  5. Hi Jacqueline,
Whatsapp Gardening has a new group administrator as a result of my accidentally deleting myself from the Whatsapp group. Since then, I have not been able to get back to the group, although the group found happiness without my presence. The group had the chance to chat within the topic and also outside the topic.

Please wait here, for the new group admin to add you.

  6. I exited the first Whatspp Gardening group, due to an accidental exit. We have since started Whatsapp New Gardening.

This group has a number of knowledgeable gardeners. Good knowledge of plants, fruit trees, orchids, creepers, flowers, etc. If you are into gardening, come join this group.

    Strictly gardening chats only.

  7. HI Terence ,
Please include me into you what’app New Gardening Chat Group.

I am very passionate in gardening and would like to share my knowledge in gardening with my SHC members. I have 90 potted plants along my common corridor and some ” air plants ” without soil growing luxuriously in my living room with partial sunlight. I added more hours of sunlight by subjecting them to artificial lighting from my light bulbs at night to stimulate healthier growth of my air plants.

Each time I tend to my plants with gentle loving care by watering ,trimming fertilising or aerating the soil I feel uplifted in my mood that comes naturally better than popping pills in our mouth .

We have a SHC member Peggy Yap who has a great passion in
orchids planting . She has 200 or more ORCHIDS ONLY growing healthily at her condo balcony. From time to time she have given me some tips on how to grow orchids luxuriantly.

She was appointed as one of the Vice President of OSSEA ( Orchid Society of S.E.A. ) representing Singapore in the International Orchid competition overseas .

  8. Hi Steven,

The Whatsapp Gardening group was closed many mths ago. Reason, participants did not adhere to the topic, causing those who are only interested in Garden to leave the group.

  9. The SHC whatsapp group “SHC Gardening group”, like all other existing chatgroups, will be given more autonomy. I have decided to relinquish my role as admin and moderator. This will give more creativity and freedom to the chatgroups and its new Group Admin. This takes immediate effect.

This group admin is now: Ng How.

To participate, plse contact Ng How here.
