Olivia Ros – introduction

Hello, warm greetings to all at SHC,
I am a retiree and have just joined SHC. 
My interests are varied covering both indoor and outdoor activities.     I love and enjoy music listening – live music, jazz music, western and mandarin oldies. Tours and travel, health exercises, jogging, nature’s walk, board games, reading, appreciating cultural songs and dance performances, etc are my other interests.
I look forward to meeting all of you – interesting people soon, to share thoughts, ideas, interests, etc.

    Thanks so much for your heartening warm welcome note. Appreciate both your great sharing and invitations for the SHC activities – 12th@Han’s and the X’mas walk. Will certainly be there to support/meet up with you both and the other SHCians to celebrate X’mas and establish better ties.

  4. Hi Olivia, want join us at Bt Gombak for badminton? There’s free table tennis. Our routine is usually badminton from 10.00am to 12.00 noon, shower/bath, then for lunch across the road. ( or we organise other programs such as lunching elsewhere, visit Bollywood etc). Sometimes we bowl at Home team academy or mahjong or card games in the afternoon. Bt Gombak indoor stadium is where Bt Gombak MRT station is, so it is easy to locate. Hope to see you. Cheers

    Thanks for invitation to join your badminton@Bt.Gombak.
    I have insomnia, can’t get up early in the morning. Perhaps,
    could join you all for future games/activities in the afternoon/evening session.

    I have no knowledge of playing mahjong and would wish to learn. Any idea, where I could pick up mahjong lessons.

    Hope you could join me on the 12th Dec@Hans monthly gathering/X’mas celebrations and share the Christmas cheers.

  8. Hello, my dear Geraldine, thanks so much for the warm hospitality given.

    Very happy to hear from you, but not so happy to hear that you are also having sleep agony like me. Anyway, its a matter of time we will be able to get back the blissful sleep. Just keep trying out various exercises and hope it does help.

    We shall meet one of these days. Do join me & the other members on the 12th@Hans, if you could, to celebrate the festive cheers.

    Thanks for your kind invite to join you and others today at Han’s but I live in HK and can’t flag the airbus at the bus stop with a passport and go running back. Kekekekeee.

    We will meet one of these days as long as we want to. We can even meet at 3 am, kakakakaaa if we wish. This turns Terence on, by the way, as he is very anxious to tap into the wee hours market (whatever that means).

    If you have the time and interest, go read his post regarding having sleeping problems – not that he has problem sleeping though. He showed me his cell phone one time which he set his ‘going to sleep alarm’ at 9PM!!! Zzzzzzz…. Go figure.

    Welcome onboard the exciting, fun, adventurous SILVER Liner!! I guarantee you will enjoy being a member especially if you are active.
    I organise “game day” (boardgame & cardgame) once in a while and told that i’m an expert in mahjong (by the novice heeee) hence can teach you how to ‘wash’ ‘touch’ ‘build’ and ‘play’ this ancient game that stimulates mind, body and soul… will talk about details during Hew Lee’s 21.12 Orchard Walk.
