  1. Hi Veron,
My apology for not informing you of the gathering. I am not sure why you did not receive the information on the Dec gathering. Somehow our records indicate information on the gathering has been sent twice to members. Also, they are always available on the website. We are new, and suggestions to minimise this inconvenience would be great.

I do look forward to have your participation at our regularly monthly meetings.

  2. Hi Terence, Sorry I missed this email. Very busy lately therefore did not get to read till now. Do keep me posted of events. Merry Christmas & Happy New Year. Eliza

  3. From Richard Kwok to Silverhairers,

Just a Thought of our last sharing on:
How much do we need to Live in Singapore?

Some said S$3000.- some said S$2500.- and said said S$500.- These amount differs accordingly to each and individual Life Style, there is no right or wrong. If you can afford S$3000.- spend them by all means, after all Life is meant to enjoy and have fun, that’s what Life is, Living to your fullness for the remaining good old years and we deserve that before we go.-Heaven.

But on the other end, if you only afford to spend S$500.- be contended with your own Life Style, spend within your means and be Happy, and the only way to be Happy is not to compare and jealous with others that you don’t have.

If you got problems in that area, I will be glad to help, as I said earlier I will be able to provide Free Coaching on areas you need or having problems.

Whole idea is how much to live in Singapore is how much you can afford without getting yourself in debts.
Spend within your means and be Happy and Contended.

Terence, I hope you agree with me if not your comments will be most appreciated.

    Live with Passion and Fun!
    Richard Kwok

  4. From Jessie Lu to SilverHairs,

I missed the 30Dec meeting, was caught up with a closed friend’s dad who was diagnosed with liver cancer. Sorry to have informed Terence on a very wee hour of the date.

I do agree with Richard, how much you need for retirement. $500 – $3000 this amount has been brought up amongst our group. Controversial cos the $3000 group does not see how the $500 group can survive. But surprise some did survive on $500. Generally I think at the rate of inflation
We probably needs $1200 to $1500 as a guideline. Especially those tech-savvy you may need more, you know what I mean.

We even went further to do a breakdown from basic necessities to the so-called “luxury” items in our list ..

Cheers, hope to meet up again.

    Jessie
