Many have asked who is Ah Liu? I have met him once. He is 5.6m, a hopeless beer drinker, has a mole on his left ear, smart, terribly engaging, and very human.
On this forum, you can see he writes well, seems knowledgeable on everything from books to tree climbing, probably a Hokkien, and sometimes, he appears to be out-of-the-way in his thoughts. But, the reality is he is very engaging, sharp and supportive of the Silverhairsclub.
I have yet to understand him. I hope you will find some time during the D&D to meet him. He wears a ring on the middle finger. Cheers and have fun.

When I joined SHC in Nov 06, I was intrigued by the writings and musings of a certain “bocelli”, which was Tim Liu’s nick before Terence decided that we should use the name our parents bestowed upon us after consulting the genealogy.
So, I signed up for my first event, the karaoke session in Nov 06, mainly to see who this “bocelli” guy is.
He sure doesn’t look like he is 5.6m tall, and not 5ft 6″ either I think, unless he is on slightly bended knees. We can have a “Guess Ah Liu’s height” quiz on D&D night. What say you Dolly? :)
From that one meeting and the many comments he has posted here (except for one wintry period when he went into hibernation), I find him to be highly intelligent and knowledgeable (am sure he is a Mensa member), very humorous and witty, is multi-lingual in English, Singlish, Hokkien, Malay, Tamil, etc, enjoys playing the fool poking fun at people and situations, playing with words – so needn’t be offended by what he writes.
Enough said from one person before his head swells to 5.6m in diameter…
Yeap, Joy, I super agreed your suggestion but then I am afraid we might not find him at all as he will be either buzy salsa with chomp chomp mei mei or with Yew Kwong on the partnership on this so called wines hor, liquor or soft waiver charge cost seng li le… hehehehehe
I just realised my typo mistake. He is not 5.6m, but 5ft 6inch. Oops.
