SHC December gathering – 3 Dec 2007 at Bali Lane

The SHC December gathering is now confirmed. (This Posting is no longer in Use)

  • Date:  Tue, 18 Dec 2007 3rd Dec. 2007
  • Time:  1800 – 2100 hrs 1500 – 2030 hrs
  • Place:  Hans cafe  8 Bali Lane (Op. Golden Landmark Hotel towards Beach Road)
  • Charges:  Preferably, no pre-collection.  To pay at door, direct to venue. $3 per set refreshment.

Highlight of the events is the Demo of SHC website and its function at 1900 hrs.

Registration:  As space is limited your early registration is appreciated. No cancellation of booking by 1st December 2007.

    A new outlet at 18 Bali Lane, near to Bugis MRT (Opp. Golden Landmark Hotel towards Beach Road) which can be use for gathering. Nice exculsive environment with Large LCD screen for displaying function events.
    Special discount: buffet $3 each.
    Time slot: Pre-booking

    If response is good, I can arrange for the booking.

    Would you be kind enough to offer to be the Event Organiser for the December gathering?

    With so many computer screens, we can take the opportunity to go over the SHC website, and show members how to benefit from the key features of the SHC forum.

    I think ur location is ideal 4 gathering. Wat max size can it take – 50 can? Buffet at $3 – wow, real bargain. LCD screen 4 demo -another plus.

    U can os count me in 2 assist but not on Tue (tied up wif voluntary teaching til end Dec 07).

    We have not met as yet, my wife Alice and I would be happy to attend the gathering on 3rd Dec (Mon), to get to know other Silverhairs.
    The question of timing for the Non-working to meet is rather short at 1500 – 1530 hrs (not enough to get to know each other, your comment #8), and there is also a gap of 2-1/2hr until the working members meet at 1800 -2030hrs.
