  • I am starting and volunteer teaching a Monthly Balloon IG Interest Group. Every last wed of the month. Starting wed 29 February 2012, time 730 pm to 930 pm. Venue Kim Tian West RC. Theme :Teaching Basic Balloon Scuplture. Free membership.Fee $3 per pax per month. Cost of balloon sharing. Take a Train to Tiong Bahru MRT, Tiong Bahru Plaza. Cross the road, walk straight (keep left path) you will see a school, then block 26 coffee shop. Cross the road, see block 118, 2 to 3 block you will see block 118A.   1. Hi Wendy,

    I have a question. What is balloon sculpture? Tell us more about it.

    Can’t wait. I guess it has to do with balloons. You blow it up, and then you twist and turn the balloon, until it forms a shape eg an elephant or a heart or something. Correct?

    This is Sylvia Ang. the member with laughter club. I lost my password and user ic and you told me to register again. Passion Balloon wanted me to volunteer to start and teach and facilitate balloon IG (Which mean balloon interest group) teaching basic balloon sculpure. you pump a balloon and learn to twist it into basic shape like a dog, elephant, flower, teddy bear, pirate sword and many more. its volunteer non profit making so just charge $3 and share cost of balloon.

  10. Sylvia, the name of the road for Kim Tian West CC is Jalan Membina. It’s about 15 mins walk from the Tiong Bahru Plaza but 5 mins walk from Jalan Bukit Merah.

I went to Passion Balloon Clinic training and PA Passion Balloon IG Division will email me a template for registeration form and attendance form. we have to mark and sign attendance every month and RC will report to contuentency to report to PA Passion Balloon the month;y attendance that the interest group at rc, otherwise PA Passion Balloon will close down the interst group. down by PA Passion Balloon IG Interest Group.

    I have 5 people already express their interest to join the 29 Feb lst meeting for interest group, i have to report to RC and PA that I will start the lst meeting of the Balloon Interest Gtoup.

    cost of balloon material $3 for basic sulpture will be paid at the Balloon Interest Group meeting. for more advance sculputre for christmas season i get an advance Interest group leader to train making santa class for christmas and cost of balloon will be shared.

Hi Rosalind, its call Kim Tian West RC, and PA Passion Balloon wanted me to start a balloon IG Interest group at Kim Tian West RC Balloon IG Interst group with me as a volunteer trainer, teacher, seting up the interst group and you guy will have some change to join PA Passion Balloon interest group for some vollunteer community work in balloon twisting and your skill will improve over time.

    if you cant commit to 12 months then you just transfer $3 for the month that you come and drop me a note if you are coming. I will check the bank update and you keep your atm recipt for veification.

    Janie to answer your question, most RC Balloon Interest group charge %3 per month. they meet once a month.\

    Carnhill balloon interst group charge $45 for 6 months session.

    Usually they register for 12 month session in order keep the Balloon Interest group active otherwise PA Balloon interest group will close down the RC Balloon interst group.

    I am just setting up one so Kim Tian West RC Balloon Interst group is charging $3 per month and $36 for 12 month session. (But you still have to fill up a membership form for PA and mark attendance for rc to report to continutecy to PA.

    Its volunteer and non profit making. I dont get funding from my RC. I am a volunteer and dont get pay. $3 is to help pay for the cost of the balloon. And we charge $3 which is very cheap for the material.

    to claify $3 per session is to help the Interest group to have the fund to pay for packets of balloon per session as balloon are expensive. also the interest group charge $3 for material for basic sculputre and cost sharing for more advance sulpture as more advance sulpture need more packets of balloon.

    dont be confused. $3 per month per session is the fee charge which you have to transfer in advance (total 12 month is $36)

    you have to pay for material $3 for basic sculpture when you come for the class

    Good news for all. I went for my RC Meeting tonight and the RC Chairman just returned from China long holiday. She decided to charge $3 for the material only for basic sculpture per session per month so for those interested to commit to 12 months you only transfer to me $36 otherwise transfer me $3 for the month you come.

    PA Passion balloon emailed me some membership details tonight and I need those who sign up and intersted in the Balloon IG to email me soon Name as per NRIC, with name, address, date of birth, telephone, mobile and email for my RC Chairman to submit the membership to PA Passion BaLLoon.

    I support your effort to have members join the Balloon Interest group. This part is good, and I wish you success in continuing this program throughout the year.

    What I am uncomfortable with is to use this event to solicit membership details for the RC Chairman and submitting them to PA. SilverHairsClub is not into this direction. I hope you will focus on your objective of creating an interest group. You still have my support but I cannot allow using members details for other purposes. I hope you will accept this position. I hope I have not misunderstood your comment.

    Yr allegation about PA Chairman soliciting singapore citizens’s details to be use for “other purposes” could be a serious one.

    those who say they are coming on 29 Feb, transfer me $3 and email me their phone contact and email adddress, otherwise i cant contact them so that I could register your attendance with RC.

    some people already sign up with RC Chairman. So I dont know how many space left at RC.

    Terence dont get us wrong, PA Passion balloon wanted me to set up a Balloon IG. I am setting up a Kim Tian West Balloon IG Interest Group,with me as the IG Leader and Trainer. We are in the midst of getting PA approved for the formation of the Balloon IG at Kim Tian West RC Balloon IG. PA email me a IG Formation form, which need the names of paid members who sign up and their details for PA approval for setting up the Balloon IG. The RC Chairman need to submit the IG Formation Form with the details for people who have make payment and signed up with the balloon IG, so that PA Balloon will approved the Balloon IG and we can start our lst Balloon IG Meeting 29 Feb.

    Its first time I am setting up a balloon ig, so sorry for the hiccup, on lst balloon ig meeting, 29 Feb, some admin work, basic balloon techniques and 1 hour basic balloon sculpure could come to 2 hour.

    Kindly bring a big plastic bag or 1 foldable laundry basket you can get from mustafa, little india to put your balloon and bring ball pen, black marker pen and sissor.

    Just got home from making half a basket of balloon flowers with rc chairman for tomorrow sunday rc community networking day. RC chairman just told me she would prefer the Balloon IG to start at 8 pm because resident come home late from work. Thus I am sorry that I have to change the timing to 8 pm for 29 Feb First Balloon IG Meeting.

    I have learn Balloon crab, octupus and fish today and will teach in the Balloon IG when members know some basic balloon twisting techniques.
