surely there will be something that’ll keep you coming back.

Thanks for the suggestion. Regretably to say, if I have the time to organize an event in SHC, you would then be able to see me in many of the SHC’s events too… (^_~)
Unfortunately, I’m working full time as well as studying at the same time. My working place is almost reachable to JB and I don’t drive. With these constraints and sometimes the “duty call” to work late in the office, I would rather not commit to anything that I know I may not be able to see it thru right to the end…. (>_<)
So until the day that I retire, I will have to rely heavily on others to take up the big responsibility to be the EO / EC… and support them whenever I could… and I truly, truly appreciate those come forward to be the EO/EC…

I now have a 2 week old grandson, Arran, and together with Amber, they have been keeping me verrrrry busy.

It’s now 7 years since SilverHairsClub started. There is one group of members who joined SilverHairsClub for the purpose of knowing a few new friends. Their kids have grown up and have their own families. They lead their own lives. As parents, many have done their duty raising their children. For some members, they live a life of their own. The SilverHairsClub wishes all our members many good and healthy years to go. I wish you will find new friends.

Since joining SHC sometimes 3rd week of Febuary this year, annie and me have been joining the many activities organised by volunteer EOs. Many thanks to you all. By joining those activities we get to know more members. We also have an opportunity to meet their family members, personal friends as well as those who didn’t participate any events this year. So till today, did we meet and chat with 50, 80 or a hundred members? We hope 2013 we will have time to meet those we have not met and still be able to catch-up with those we already know.
Happy New Year and may all your wish comes true in 2013.

2012 has been a year of ups and downs for me, but i want to thank those whom i’ve met at the various events for being such good company:
– the Thailand trip organised mid year by Terence – a very big THANK YOU to Terence and the others who made it memorable. (The amount of noise in the bus and whatever that spew out during meals, drinks.. Wow..)
– the one-time monthly gathering at Han’s Park Mall (the only one i attended in the year)
– the weekly badminton kakis and lunch (and lame jokes..)
Due to personal matters at home, i’m not able to attend the walks, the monthly meetings, and whatever the EOs organised, but i will always check the website to see what is happening out there.
Finally, i want to thank everyone who keeps me and James in their prayers/burning incence/offerings etc
May 2013 be a better year for everyone.

Hi Everyone in SHC,
Christmas has come and gone and today will be the first day in the New Year of 2013, hope everyone enjoyed this festive occasion.
Pearl, thanks for starting this drama group which I enjoyed I had always wanted to try drama but had no opportunity until Pearl came along in SHC. Since joining the drama group, I had learned allot and most importantly, enjoyed myself very much with like minded people.
For those who wanted to try and experience drama, do come and join us to enjoy yourself. Don’t be shy as no experience is needed to join the drama group.
May the year of 2013 bring everyone good health,lots of happiness & great success and for the year ahead.
