Perth in 2010

Hi All

Those who are interested in visiting Perth next year and looking for B & B accomodation in Perth,I may be able to assist. I have a few friends (ex-S’poreans/Malaysians) who have rooms to offer.

Generally, it’s better to hire a car and do self-drives in Perth itself or nearby regions eg Busselton, Mandurah, Margaret River or up north to Jurien Bay, Monkey Mia etc.

However if you don’t drive, perhaps guided driven/bus/walking trips can be suggested for you.I’ll be in Perth from Mar-May and so can offer my assistance too. I hope to visit Ayers rock/Alice Springs at that time and so those who wish to go that way, let me know.

Cheers
Joan

  1. Hi Joan,

I missed last year trip to Perth and would be keen this
time. However, I’ve booked a trip else druing end Mar/early
April so not sure if the Perth trip would clash.

    Let’s keep my fingers cross.

  2. Hi Joan,
I’m interested in visiting Alice Spring and Ayers Rock if the trip is not more than ten days. Let me know your plans/arrangements for this trip and I’ll see if I (or my group) can fit in with your plans :)

    Cheers,

  3. Hi Lily

Maybe when you are a bit more certain of the dates of travel, let me know, so that I can connect you to the Perth friends and you can liaise directly with them as to details and info you like to know.

I’m putting the post early as holiday planning by parties generally start early.

    Regards

True, one can travel anytime tho it’s good to visit when the weather is cooler than what’s experienced in S’pore. Perth generally is cool almost three-qtrs of the year.

    Hi Jassmine#3
As Alice Springs etc is hot, I would prefer to visit it in winter. So perhaps beginning of May will be what I may be looking at.Will give more details later.

    Cheers

  5. Hi All

Just read about two guided tours (landprice only) to Ayers Rock (Uluru)/ Alice Springs. One is a 3D/2N camping for AUD 625 in Mar 2010 (daily departure) and the other is AUD 1200 in hotel accomodation in Apr 2010. Let me know if interested and perhaps can visit those places together.

I’m quite keen on the 1st as never been on a camping trip and it promises to be lowest priced, also if single can be in a single person tent, if not 2 or 3 sharing.

  7. Hi Joan,

I’ll be going to Perth on 17 April and need accommodation, centrally located, for the night only.
I’m due to arrive at about 9.30 p.m. and join a tour early next morning. Any assistance/advice would be appreciated.

  8. Hi Richard

I have friends who may be able to accomodate you for the 17 Apr. Can you provide more details eg ow many people – just yourself? I guess you may need transport from the airport and perhaps to the meetup location for your tour.

    Regards
