  1. I am mystified. This post has been up for almost a week, yet there has been no response at all. Not even a whimsical, playful jibe. What’s happening? Isn’t anybody interest in the trip at all? I would really like to here some views being expressed. Positive or negative as the case may be.

I would not hesitate to count myself in for this trip, except that although I have recovered substantially, I am still not confident enough to make the trip and do not wish to wind up being a burden to the rest or a wet blanket.

  2. Danz,

I think if you can restruture your post, it may attract
    better response.

    1) Give a specific transport mode and one set of dates
    2) Give a single price and specify what that price covers
    3) List the options as separate activities we can choose
that is not included in the given price.

As of now, too many options are given and if everybody
states different preferences, it would be a headache.

Of course you would need to do some homework (which I
believe you normally do) and comes up with your best
    selection.
Many who embark on this maiden trip would definitely trust
    yr judgement.

Another point of concern – is the airfare fix no matter
when we book the ticket? If no, then going by coach would
be a better option if cost control is a concern

I actually look forward to this trip when it was proposed
    3 months ago.

  3. Hi Ron,

No worries, appreciate your concern. I been to Lake Kenyir last August and thought that other may want to go too.

On the recommendation of Malcolm Chen, I was sponsored on this trip by the Tourism Board of Malaysia and Lake Kenyir Resort and feels obligated to lead a group there.

James, the cost and option are clearly laid out. If there is interest we will proceed from there.

Whether anyone is keen to go is subjective and beyond our control. Perhaps, it’s just that most find that there is no attraction at all. I am not going to lose sleep over it as I am just trying to find a group of friend to enjoy a holiday and not worrying that it may cost a limb!

  4. James,

The reason for the two dates is because Firefly only operates on a Saturday and back on a Tuesday. On the other date we are taking advantage of a public holiday to travel.
