We had a spate of cyber attacks in recent days. To prevent any damage to our documents and files, our hosting company has advised a temporary shutdown. Luckily, the recent upgrade to our system has positioned us to withstand these attacks. But, we can never be too sure.
Meantime, we will tighten and close some of our access to the outside world. Members are encouraged to change their passwords regularly.
Apology for any inconvenience.

We had some unwanted guests who sneaked into our Club last night. Some of you may have noted a slowdown or unable to access the comments section. 5 unknown hackers from somewhere in Europe got into our Club. In this case, what they did was they wrote a few stories on coffee, weight losing, receipes, etc. Daniel Chan noticed this last night.
We have since increased the fences height, and put a 250V high power charge to it. Each day, we get almost a thousand attempts to infiltrate our Club website. While there are filters, some do sneak in and we have to remove them manually.

As of now, 18 July, 2020, the site is still in a sorry state.
Very much of the data is missing
Comments in some of the posts have vanished into thin air.
Hi Daniel,
Noted your feedback. Can you tell us which Posts and comments are missing.
And members, have you noted any missing Posts and text too?

1. Cannot read all the comments in “Life Matters, 27 and 28 July”, just the header story.
2. Some comments missing for the “Taipei Cabaret Night” – with each REFRESH bringing back different lines.
