  1. Hi

First we had an enchanting evening in Dec 09. Now we are planning an enchanting night. Do hope many can come and join us for another time of food, fun and fellowship.

    Joy

  2. Hi Jane Wong,

Thanks for being the first to sign up.

Leong Kim, we meet again after the dinner at Safra Jurong and thanks for the support.

Dear folks, this really a good deal. Having Mouth Restaurant to cater the buffet dinner and using the Ktv lounge all to ourselves plus free flow of soft drinks and hot Chinese tea.

    Hi Judy and Irene,

We look forward to another enchanting night!

Just to inform that the corkage charge for wine in $10.00.

  6. Women can really do wonders to a man. From the pouting Dan-H, I now see a chanting man organising a Chanting Nite which certainly promises fun, if not to also prepare us on how to do it correctly at that last big ceremony.

Since there will also be k’ok, please sign me in. While you lead the chant, I’ll get those who like to stay hangloose and unprepareed, to sing or rant.

Do pls make some noise closer to the date as I am already in the home-run of my dementia.

  7. Hi Tim,

Since joining SHC have I been seen pouting or smiling gleefully? We can’t deny that women made the whole go round!

Hi Eyonne, glad to have you coming to join us.

An Nee, the lounge is carpeted and there will be space allotted for us to dance.

    Dan

  8. Of cos Dan-H, you always have that charming gleeful smile for us guys but was it a pout for the gals……..or was it an ever-readiness of lips pushing forward to kiss? Cant really tell since my eyesight isnt so good. Pout or not it certainly no more the day you found her, a tender, kind & loving lady.

“We can’t deny that women made the whole go round”.

Obviously, you eyesight – and typing – also not so good. I dunno whether the hole is round, women made the hole round or made men go round and round the hole. Whatever, dont get lost in the hole and not able to climb out of it for some fresh air……..and chanting.

  9. Dear Tim,

Blame my eyesight or my mental short-sightness, I sincerely meant the word ‘world’ and not ‘whole’. Can it be that this malady is already catching up on me?

Time to hide in the attic or the desert if I hear the continuous chanting from her!

    Dan

    Dan & Joy

  11. Fish ball?

Papa got ball, mama also got ball, you, I too. Terence prides himsself for his 2 balls, 1 big 1 very small and about to fall.

So folks, arent you all curious how a fish’s ball looks like? You not only get to feel it but also eat it as well. So come for the fish ball and fill up the hall and who knows you might later find the gall to set up stalls selling sleazy fish balls i.e the yu tan dong?

  12. dear danzjoy
i’m registering on behalf of MAUREEN LEE for this event, cos she still unable to access to this log-in.
    TQ
irene on behalf of Maureen lee.

  13. Hi Dan,

May be you were thinking of too much “wholes”, and why you inadvertently wrote whole instead of world. Ha! ha! :)

  14. Hee..hee..you guys are clowns. Dan, don’t think the typo error is much to do with your eyesight. Before you hit the button ‘submit’ next time, read your posting again, otherwise Mr Liu will be there waiting to laugh at you again. Actually I think he should write a book since he is so good at rhymes…:)

  15. Hi Steven,

Why are you poking holes at me. I want to type the word ‘world’ but ‘whole’ came out, blame my hands movement.
Meanwhile our plan to organise Chilli Padi Part 3 have to be put on hole!

Maria, I agree the Tim got the gift of the gap, he’s always gaping away.

Those of you who are still wondering whether to come for the ‘enchanting’ night, do note that the cost of the buffet is at $12.00 and the cost for booking the Ktv lounge including free flow of soft drinks is at $12.00 if we achieved 50 pax or $13.00 for hitting 40 pax or $14.00 for a minimum of 30 pax. The buffet will only be catered if we have a minimum of 25 pax, otherwise we just stick to charging the rate for booking the ktv lounge as per the number of pax attending.

    Desperate Dan

  16. Hi Dan,

Is it alright if I can join you folks for buffet dinner but no K’ok for me?

    Thanks!

  17. Hi Dan Kor,

Breaks my heart when you signed off as ‘Desperate Dan’.

I am thinking of joining for a number of reasons. Have a few birthdays to attend, the menu looks super yummy, pretty Irene Poh has signed up, sweet Sue Chan is planning to join and of course, your calling which prompts me into action.

Can’t promise anything but will confirm by/before the due date.

Let me know if it’s alright.

    Hugs,
    Geraldine Mai

  18. My Dear ‘Si Tau Por Geraldine’,

You got up early @ 3.48am to deliver such an engaging message to Dan Huang, that’s very motivational!

Should you be able to visit SGP later this month, do try and schedule an afternoon tea with me, CatYeo and a few other members since we did not get the chance to meet up during your last trip here in January. Can understand your tight schedule each time you return to SGP, but we still insist in meeting our ‘Si Tau Por Leng Loi from Honky Land’!

    Cheers!

  19. Hi Sue,

Joy and I wanted to have the buffet dinner and kaoeke and danzing to ensure more meaningful interaction among our new and old members.

Yes, those who choose to come just for the happy hours are most welcome, you need to pay only $12.00 subject to the number attending!

Geraldine, ah mai thanks for responding and all of us here are look forward to the heartthrob from Hong Kong gracing the ocassion.

Terence, do we get your support? Can we set up a table at the coming monthly gatherings to sell tickets for the enchanting night at $12.00 and for $24.00 for those coming for dinner and karoeke and danzing?.

    Danz4Joy!

  20. Fish ball next to my name? Haha, so be it.

Maria-T, me write a book? Me saddled with sacks of woes, can write only sad stories so no one will publish let alone buy lah.

Well, Dan-H, isnt it better that timahliu gape than gasp at you or make an ape of you? Hehe…….

I will pay you when we meet next Thursady the 18th at the Money Gethering. I amn easy whether or not it’s buffet, k’ok. No buffet, no k’ok oso ok for me. We can Sit-Down-n-Pour…….who knows, you might just get liucky and turn Horny?

  21. Hey Baby Doll Sue,

I was still AWAKE when I was feeling engaging. Kekekekeee.

Insist away. I am all yours! We can do tea, coffee or me with a few lovely members. It’ll be good to catch up.

    Hi Dan,

Am also looking forward to this gathering. Will keep you posted.

  22. dearest ‘Si Tau Por Geraldine aka gorgeous’
thank u for the compliment and looking forward to meeting u again (*~*)

    cheers !!
    irene

  23. Hi Marg Tian,

Thanks for signing up and giving support.

Sue, you can skip the dinner . A reminder, you may come just for the singing and dancing and pay half the cost!

Geraldine, hopefully you can made the trip back to Singapore and join us for a wild times.

Our general impression is that most members avoid attending karoeke session due to the fact that they can’t sing. Most who can sing have opportunities to be invited to karoeke session without paying a bomb!

Over here B Box KTV charges only $14.00 for a five hours session which work out to only about $2.80 per hours and mind you with free flow of soft drinks.

Needless to say Mouth Restaurant charges $12.00 for 9 items buffet dinner is unheard of.

    Danz4Joy!

  24. Hi Dan,

Just to confirm that I’m joining you for DINNER together with Peter, a Newbie, whose profile will be published shortly.

    Thank you!

  25. Dan-H, I hv had plenty of k’ok so if no k’ok it’s still ok with me…………eating is fine.

Frankly, even if we can get 5-10 for a k’ok, going by the estimated cost of $12 x 50 = $600, each will have to pay btwn $120-$60, and this too is quite unheard of. Then it’s no more k’ok but really cock to cock-a-doodle-do.

  26. Hi Sue,

My mistake, you are joining us for dinner and not for the happy hours.

Hi Peter, welcome to the Club, glad to have you joining us.

Dear folks, you may join us for dinner or for the happy hours.

    Dan & Joy
