Ah Nee
Hi Steven
It’s on 18 May as indicated on the post
Are you coming?
ok i’m coming as new comer, where can I get a xl size shc tee?
Hi Steven
The shc T-shirt was meant for those who had signed up for the recent completed 128km ride in memory of the late Paul Lim.
It’s a limited issued shc tee.
Perhaps Ivan Lim may be able to advise where to buy the shc tee
Hi Doug,
Thanks for leading us today. I enjoyed the ride. The route was very interesting except for the construction work around the Stadium area. Nevertheless I can imagine it will be a very well-liked route after the stadium is completed.
Next month, Pengarang!!!
Charles, Pengarang ride falls on which date? Wanna round up the rest of 128km riders for this ride?
Hi Yew Kwong,
No dates fixed. I simply asked Doug if he was willing to arrange a bike ride to Pengarang. So far I think he is thinking of a Sat in June. Timings as usual, Meet in CV about 7-8am, take first boat or something close to Pengarang and arrange to take last boat back from Pengarang at 4pm. I think he said Sat so that should the group miss the last boat, we can stay a night and take the next boat back on Sunday.
I suggested to him to collect money, non-refundable, on confirmation, so as to ease administrative problems for himself. I think we should be adult enough to recognise this so as not to discourage the EOs.
There isn’t much to do in any Pengarang ride, as you know, only enough time to have lunch, buy some biscuits and ride back early to catch the last boat back. Distance, for anyone interested, is about 20kms, 1 way, nia nia.
I think it would be a good idea to contact any one interested as all the 128 RIR are already members.
Any other details or questions have to be directed to the EO.
Looking forward to the ride. How is the planning for all your rides we spoke about.
Cheers
Doug, Charles, how about cycling to Desaru and stay one night in Pengarang…
Charles
M working out on fixing the dates. Let’s Doug’s Pengarang takes off 1st. Soon I can join u on foldie as mine purchased locally will arrive in June.
Anna
If u prefer, ride to Pengarang can be extended to Desaru for those who wanna do longer distance.
Noted, YK.
