Many members have identified yourself among certain interest groups eg dancing groups, travel groups, mahjong groups, badminton groups, cycling groups, etc. However, some of you are still finding the groups that match your interests, hobbies and needs.
Your present individual membership does not have the details. It is also quite labour intensive to help these groups form. SHC has created a database of hobbies and interests. If you like you can join the different SHC interest groups. There is no requirement for you to join if you just wish to keep in touch with the club.

Only members who participate in the SHC Interest groups will be identified with others of similar interests.
Existing members may register first. New members who join us after the coming Membership drive can join in Aug 2013.

As mentioned, from today, there will be changes in the access and security levels of the Club access. All members, except Yew Kwong, will no longer be able to inter-edit the Posts or comments of other members. This has not been found to be useful, and changes have created unnecessary quarrels.
EOs and ECs may be able to edit their own Posts.
