The Pot-luck is confirmed for Sat, 13 Jan, 2007.
- Venue: On the beach, behind Bicycle Rental, 20 metres from MacDonald, East Coast.
-
3.00 pm – For the early birds, meeting at MacDonald.
-
4.30 pm – Start getting to know new friends
-
5.45 pm – Food time commences
-
7.30 pm – Likely ending time
What is most exciting about this event is the venue will be the terminating point of the cycling and walking groups. On this day, the cycling and the walking activities will proceed with the usual activities.
For those bringing food, Yew Kwong, Terence and other SilverHairs will be there are 3pm. Do not bring too much food, say for about 10 persons.
For those who are not cycling or walking, SilverHairs can meet at the Pot Luck venue. Bring something to sit on so that you can sit on the grass or sand and chat. Plenty of strong winds, maybe some rain. It would be nice if you put on your beach wear or swimming gear. Stay comfortable, as there are no seats.
Transport may be difficult for some, but do try to make arrangements among yourselves.
