This is Home Truly, our home, our Singapore. Our greetings on this National Day, from the SilverHairsClub

Many of us have been in Singapore for more than 45 years.  We have a short history; and yet it is full of memories for us.  Let’s take this opportunity to share our feelings about Singapore.  It is very nice of Dolly to put up this National Day song; and I like to invite you to also share with fellow members your favourite ND songs.  Wishes too.

Enjoy this occasion.

Whither Conscience?

  • How does one make sense of charities that enrich the top dogs running the organizations? (How rich? (i) from HDB flat dwelling to Sentosa Cove penthouse and a mansion in Hollywood (ii) horse-buying (iii) $25K/mth ‘peanuts’ salary, 1st class travels and gold plated tap). Can there be real charity when wolves in sheep’s clothing are running the show?
  • Just when the depressing thought that Conscience had gone to the dogs(!), up popped an *article in the S.T – about a wealthy entrepreneur setting up  orphanages in  countries where the poor/needy are left to fence for themselves –  to revive the drooping spirit. :) His mission is to empower the poor with the skills to lift themselves (and their families) out of abject poverty.
  • With his revelation in the press, especially the one on how the charity dollar is spent, Conscience has a chance to return as the main ingredient in the making of a moral compass.

(a personal opinion)

Announcing the launch of SHC Live!; use of SKYPE, Sat 4 Aug 2012

Dear members,

  • SilverHairsClub.com is a good way to meet new friends and keep in touch with SHCians.
  • The monthly gatherings are another way to keep in touch regularly, meet new friends.
  • The Interests groups are another way to share common interests, and meet friends.

As we get older, we become less mobile and less willing to leave our house.  We may also be busy, got grand children to look after or just back from a wedding dinner or dance.  We may be somewhere else in the world.

But, we still need to meet friends, keep in touch, and not feel lonely, just because we are house bound.

Let’s have another way to meet friends, old and new, keep in touch via SHC Live!

Technology has made this possible.  Singapore is going to have one of the fastest broadbands.  Most HDB flats and houses are going to be connected.  We can be connected from anywhere in Singapore.  See one another.  SKYPE is one of the applications we can use.  Go into SKYPE.com and sign up for an account online.  If you are not sure, ask online and someone can help you.

  • Venue:  Your home, anywhere, your own PC, note book  or IPAQ, your own SKYPE
  • Day of the month:  First Saturday of each month
  • Time: Gathering starts starts 2200 hrs and ends 2300 hrs.  This time is chosen, because this is the most popular time SHCians come online.
  • Moderator:  Terence Seah (Initially for a few meetings, and after that volunteers appreciated).  I am also pretty new; but I dont think you want to wait until I become an expert.  My account name is swift_squirrel.  Please invite swift_squirrel to your skype contact list.
  • We can also have group video, and I am hoping we can introduce ourselves during the first part of SHC Live!
Those who are good or comfortable with SKYPE, please help and advise.  Let me know if you can help me. I need a time keeper, so that we can keep to schedule.  I need someone to help chair so that those who wish to speak gets a chance.  Everybody wants to speak too.

Next and first SHC Live! is on Sat 4, starting 2200 hours.  We will connect you 10 minutes before 2200 hours. So make sure your SKYPE is on.

Current status of SHC stays, while we now add on SilverHairs Enterprise PL (SHE)

For a long time, we have discussed offline and here on this forum the idea of taking SilverHairsClub to another level, and making the club more structured and registered.  We have all discussed, and the preference is to have SHC what it is today.

Next, I had offered to member/s to take over SHC, with the aim of shouldering the costs, legality and management of SHC, and maintaining SHC as it is today.  However, I have not been able to find someone or groups to take over this role.  As I have mentioned many times, I am in Singapore no more than 3-4 days a month, and have not been able to participate in most activities too.  Most members are aware of my travelling patterns and absence from activities.

I had also offered to members to form a registered or business entity to own and run SHC, while leaving SHC social activities as it is to the Club manager.  I did not receive any viable plans or concept.

This brought me to the idea of creating a new business organisation end 2011 – "SilverHairs Enterprise Pte Ltd" which owns SilverHairsClub.com and SilverHairsClub, a social and informal club for Singaporeans over 45 to meet new and more SilverHairs friends.  SilverHairs Enterprise is intended to be the formal link with outside organisations and the public.

The initial targets of SilverHairs Enterprise PL (SHE) is to  look at part-time work opportunities for SHC retirees and to find means to keep the club financially sound, without collecting membership fees.

So, you will hear more from SilverHairs Enterprise and more links to the public via SHE.

I like to set a one-year goal to relinquish my responsility as founder of SHC, and be an ordinary member.  I really do not have the time and resources to continue running SHC as it is.  3-4 days in Singapore now and in the coming years is not possible to run SHC and now  SHE as it is.  Neither can I continue to fund the organisations indefinitely.

To make this possible, I intend to identify volunteers to work inside SilverHairs Enterprise PL, as I and SHE obviously cannot afford to pay salaries.  We do not receive government support, and neither are we a charity organisation where we can solicit funds.  When the different roles become successful and profitable, SHE will be able to pay for this part-time roles.

This is the way forward, as I do not wish to see SHC and SHE discontinued when I am unable to do so.  I also prefer to go over future ideas and tasks, rather than relook back at what we have discussed over the last few years.

If you feel you have the experience and would like to work for SHE in a volunteer role, I would like to discuss with you how you can fit into SilverHairs Enterprise Pte Ltd. This is where you can re-engage yourself with outside organisations and the public.  You may write to me at terences@SilverHairsClub.com. As a member, please feel free to offer your comments and ideas here. If you like to track back to the last discussion, read here.

How can we make home potlucks a significant feature within SHC?

All of us are familiar with Home Potlucks.  To our friends and new acquaintances, it is always nice to cook a meal, invite others to bring something, and enjoy time together, get to know each other and find common interests.

Very often, the host has to put in a lot of effort to make sure the Home Potluck runs as planned, and the food and drinks are sufficient for the group.  The schedule has to be right, the cake just well baked, the curry hot and yet caters to those who have delicate lips, the apartment is cleaned, before and after the event and the guests are able to gel with one another.

If we are the sociable type, we always like to be invited.  If I find that someone else is invited, and I am not, I tend to sulk and wonder why I am to invited. Maybe, it’s another clique, and I am not in that group. Sometimes, we rather not put up a Post on a home potluck, for fear that we invite someone we dont like or we receive overwhelming responses.  Or maybe, we might have two persons who do not like one another, for whatever the reasons.

Then, if we have many responses, it will cost a lot to buy the food and the drinks.  And, it will also be a big headache to do the preparation and ooh, the clean-up.  Maybe, we can organise one or two Home Potlucks. But, how about every month?  No, sometimes, we think better not, to avoid all the headaches. It’s sad if these concerns prevent us from having regular Home Potlucks.  Some participants may not bring anything, and just say I shall drop in.  Others may bring an item, that two other members have brought along too.

Many of our members are excellent cooks, prepare great dishes and make beautiful kueh kueh.  Would it not be nice if we get to taste these foods?

How do we encourage Home cooked food?  Sometimes, words are better not said, but I tend to think that we should be open about having home potlucks, some guidelines maybe, some costs ideas?.   We then can call these home potlucks an SHC-style Home Potluck.  What about "Invite and be Invited"?

(Please do not point or push anyone who respond to this Post to organise a home potluck.  This can discourage views and opinions from being raised).  Let’s have open ideas and discussison on a SHC-style Home Potluck.

SHC monthly news update, July 2012

Dear members,

We are now into the second half of 2012.

Monthly gatherings:

Let’s think about the SHC monthly gatherings.  Most of us know there is a monthly gathering, organised during the week day from around 4pm to 8pm, usually in the city. This event caters well to the still-working SilverHairs and some retirees.  Since the beginning of 2012, the monthly gatherings have expanded to cater to members, mainly retirees living in the East and the West. Robert Ong has been steadily organising the monthly gatherings for the Easterlies; while Dan Huang is now organising the monthly gatherings for the Westerlies.  Most times, the participants are retirees, as these events are held during the off-peak periods and during the weekdays.  If you are looking to meet new SilverHairs friends, and looking for common interests and companionship, look for Robert Ong and Daniel Huang in the SilverHairsClub.com.  Their events are published there monthly.  If you make time to join these events, I am sure the EOs would be most pleased to make this gathering a monthly activity.

Healthy activities:

SilverHairsClub is for the over 45s.  We all see the need for healthy activities, exercises and fresh air, amidst scenic surroundings.  There is the walking group, the cycling group and the badminton group.  Their activities are organised almost every month; read more about them in the Club’s forum.

Annual Dinner & Dance:

This month is our monthly Dinner & Dance.  It’s titled "Arabian Night"; and the organisers assure us there will be plenty of dancing, games, music and fun.  If you are looking for a night of dancing and dancing, all dressed up for the evening, you may be able to get tickets to this evening event.  Register now in the Club. I think there is still room for you.

Interest groups activities:

There are many other groups, each organised by dedicated members.  Join the IT group, the Photography group, the IT Balloon group, the beginners guitar group, the line dancing group, the month end Kovan dancing session and even the online fleamart.  Do join them.

Membership changes:

There are some changes in the membership procedures.

*  With effect 1 July 2012, new membership applications will be processed during the 1st 7 days of each month.

*  Members, whose email address has changed, and have not informed the administrator, will be delisted. You would have to apply new.  You can tell you are delisted, if you can no longer log into SilverHairsClub.com.

Membership to SHC will continue to be free.  As the Club does not have an activity organising committee, members are expected to organise one activity for the Club and its members, during the membership term. If you have not done so, please speak with the senior members who would be able to offer you some ideas. These activities can be related to your interests, hobbies, leisure, charity, travel, small business, etc.

Part-time work for retirees and working members with some free time:

In the coming months, we will focus on paid part-time work opportunities for retired SilverHairsClub members, as well as working members who have some free time.  We have now a good size start-up group to launch Eldersitter services to elderlies in Singapore.  A number of members have also applied for part-time nanny services, confinement ladies, office stand-ins, errand runners and drivers, and we are now consolidating the names list.  We have recently received a suggestion to offer online Chinese tuition to overseas adults in western countries.  Retirees and those with the time, are invited to participate. We shall also pursue this idea.

What you can do to help?

You can help spread word around to help our retirees, who are still fit and healthy, to find part-time work. Our retirees have the experience, wisdom and knowledge, being over 45.  Working part-time is not just for the money; a part-time job helps us keep in touch with the outside world.  We may have retired from full time work, but we have experience and knowledge that can still be put to good use, during our Silver years. A part-time job is our way of continuing our contribution to society and to a labour tight Singapore.

*  Your friends or colleaques may be looking for a fit senior to look after their elderly parents, keep them company or send them for a hospital appointment.  Hire an Eldersitter from our group of retirees.

*  Does your office or factory need part-time staff as stand-in? Ask your company HR, your boss, or your family friends to register with SilverHairs Enterprise by sending an email to SHE@SilverHairsClub.com.

*  Is your married children, expecting a baby, and looking for a nanny or a confinement lady? SilverHairs Enterprise may have someone for you.

Please do your part to spread the word around.  Contact SHE@SilverHairsClub.com for any suggestions, queries, ideas or opportunity. I shall be very happy to hear from you, as the Blue Helmet project has taken us years to discuss and conceptualise.  Many members have contributed to ideas, met at many meetings, spent their time and weekends, and effort to come together.

Thank you.

Monthly Walk: Woodlands Waterfront, Saturday 14 July 2012

This post is posted on behalf of MaryT as her post did not appear on this blog!

Date:          Saturday,  14 July 2012

Time:          4.30pm sharp  (about 2 hrs)

Meeting Point :    Woodlands MRT Station nearby Passenger Service Control Station

EOs :                Veronica Wong & Mary Tan

This easy walk takes us into an urban park in Woodlands  nature area to enjoy its rustic surroundings of a
secondary forest, grassland and the mangrove swamp where you may observe mudskippers in the mudflat.

Woodlands Waterfront attractions – water promenade, coastal forest vegetation, view of Johor Straits,
sunrise and sunset views.  The 400m jetty is one of the longest coastal jetties in Singapore that offers
visitors panoramic views of the park and the Straits of Johor.  This park is so simple yet beautiful.
A good place for photography enthusiast.

Medicines, health products and medical accessories – a discussion

Hi everybody,

I would like to start a discussion, and would like to hear from you.  What you do and your experience can help some of us decide where we can get our medications, health products and medical accessories.  Do not discourage the discussion with what you think is improper or even illegal.  But, if you have experienced any good or bad, then, that’s it, we should hear from you.

Here goes.  Cheaper or better?

Many seniors and elderlies suffer from some long term sickness.  We see a doctor, get a prescription, and we get most of our medication from polyclinics, private clinics, general hospitals and specialist medical centres. For some of us, the medisave allocation gets used up, during the first appointment with the doctor during the area.  Some medication is expensive, and requires life long consumption.

Where do we get medication, especially the specialised and expensive ones on a continued basis?  We can also buy generic medication, instead of original branded medication.

Where do you buy your medication?  Do you go get them from JB, KL or Thailand? Numerous pharmacies in JB.  Or do you get them from India, where there are lots of generic medication. Or you try sourcing them from the US and Europe.  Give some examples and price comparisons.  Have you good experiences or bad ones?  Share with us your experience and observations of differences.

Again, please do not discourage anybody from sharing their experiences or recommendations.  Be open, and expensive does not mean they are always good or the best.

Photography Interest Group – Sculptures Hunting (20th July 2012)

Fellow SHCians,

If you Google and find the ten most famous sculptures in the world, you may
agree they are. Click link below to view:
A well designed sculpture is one that is professionally designed,
constructed, face the elements and can withstand the passage of time. Put a
comment in this Post if you find any interesting sculpture in Singapore. Give
us the location and/or the Building name.
The Project I am planning to do is to go "Sculptures Hunting" in Singapore.
This project only requires a small group, with like-minded people having the
same interests, with a camera and time to pursue the project and at the same
time, acquire some IT skills. This project is most suited to those who have
semi- or fully retired, having a camera collecting dust somewhere in the house
and may not have hold the camera for quite some time. You must like walking and
a passion to take the challenge.  This project will not earn us any money
or fame but just another retiree (or senior) going around spending quality time
with friends having the same interests. For this project, we have all the time
we wanted; so I am thinking of setting the time frame to one year and the
number of sculptures to capture will be around 100 or more. We can document our
findings and, if possible, give a brief description of the sculptures and the
famous artist that was commissioned to do it. We can also do an Internet Search
to find out more about any famous sculpture documented by others. I have in
mind to put our findings in the Internet, so that everyone can have access to
view. Click link below for an example,
The meeting will be once a month and the starting point (or meeting point)
will, most likely, be a a convenient food court. The date/time to meet and the
area to cover will also be stated in the monthly post.
If you are interested, you will be able to learn the following:
  1. How to take reasonably good pictures.
  2. How to transfer your pictures from the camera (or smartphone) to your
    computer.
  3. How to do simple editing to the digital pictures taken.
  4. How to start a Blog or FaceBook account and have your photos
    published.
First Meeting:
Date: 20th July 2012 (Friday)
Meeting Place: Kopitiam Food Court @ Junction of Bras Basah Road by
Bencoolen Street. Nearest MRT –
Bras Basah (Circle Line).
Time: 3.00PM to 5.00PM
Area to cover: Civic Districts, Singapore River Walk and (it time permits)
along the Marina Bay.

Making our Chinese educated members more comfortable at SHC

For a long time, and rather often, many members and some new members have asked me if SHC is an English-speaking club.  The fact is we have no intention to speak, write and communicate in English only.  I guess the big problem is because I am only conversant in English; and this too, I am not good sometimes.  We allow all kinds of languages and dialects in this club, this includes Sam’s Hokkien English, Malay, Tamil and Chinese Mandarin from time to time.  We try not to have too strict on languages and dialects.

However, Singapore has a large Mandarin speaking population, and SHC should encourage this into the Club. We allow Chinese languages on this forum.  We have also an online Chinese to English translation service on this forum.

What I like to open to members is this.  Can we have one or two members, who are fluent in Mandarin, can write and type in Chinese, and also in English to write and communicate with our Chinese educated members on this forum.  An important task is for you to come in when the English is too complicated, and you can translate and write in Chinese to explain and clarify.  From time to time, you can initiate topics in Mandarin too. You become our official Mandarin communicator.

If you can volunteer to do so, I see this as an important contribution to the club.  Please feel free to raise your hand.

Can Singapore live without maids? Is this possible?

Today, Singapore has thousands of maids.  They are in the homes, looking after babies, sick and disabled elderlies, and families who compare the financial benefits and see it is cheaper to have a maid than not working.  With a maid, these families see they would benefit from a better standard of living, instead of wasting their lives doing washing, cooking and cleaning the house.  So nice to come home from work, and into a clean house.

It’s a headache to look after babies and young children.  They scream and yell, throw the toys around the house, scribble pencil drawings on the walls, and spill milk and chocolate ice cream on the sofas.  Babies wake up in the middle of the night, cry and cry until they get picked up and have their stomachs filled. Which of the parents would wake up; or it will be the maid who has to do so.

After a whole day of hard work, can one really come home and cook for our elderly parents.  Then, bathe them, put them in front of the TV, chat with them, and later put them to bed.  So, nice to have a maid. They get to endure all the calls and screams from our parents who may have dementia and temperamental.

What if one day, the country says, "No maids".  After all, in many countries, there are no maids at all.  These are very developed countries.  Elderly folks stay in the homes, with plenty of friends around.  Babies, why cant women stay at home and look after the kids.  If the wives are not doing it, then the men can.  Or put the kids in a childcare centre, then go to work. Then, rush home after work, and pick them up.

Food, cook them one week in advance, freeze them and then go for the microwave.  Rice, it does not take a long time.  Soup, fix the slow cooker.  Today, home tasks can be productive, there is this round little robot, that can vacuum a 5 room flat within two hours.

Do you have a maid at home?  Can you do without a maid?  Why do we need to have maids and have all the maids problems.

Let’s have a good chat on this topic.  Let’s respect the opinions of other members.  Feel free to have a say.

SilverHairsClub – Part time work for retirees

Dear SHCians,

This month’s newsletter aims to focus at what SilverHairsClub can do for retirees or members who have given up a full-time job.  If you are a retiree or have given up full time work, I look forward to hear from you.  At 45+, many retirees have acquired years of skills, knowledge and experience.  Retirees have seen the world, saw their children growing up, going through school and seeing them having their own career and families.  As retirees, many of us also want to spend some time doing the things we have always wanted to do.

If you are one of the lucky Retirees or SHC members who may not need to have a part-time job, I would encourage you to help our fellow members find paid work, so that we can pass through our lives with fun, cheer and some comfort, without suffering from loneliness and an expensive society.

For different reasons, some of us want to continue working part-time; and may find searching for a suitable job difficult.  We want to stay in touch with the outside world.  If you wish to do something meaningful and like to find a part-time job, I am hoping we can do so collectively as a Club.  Besides fun and social activities, SHC can present itself as a Club with experienced seniors.  Over the years, various job ideas have cropped up, and I think it is about time, we re-try looking at this area of part-time work for Seniors.

Some of them are:

1. Care for the elderlies in their homes
2. Providing phone receptionist services from our homes.
3. Running errands for families
4. Confinement and nanny services for young families.
5. Stand in for various positions in companies when the full time staff is on sick leave or long vacation.

The list can go on, and as to how we will proceed, we really have to depend on your interest.  Simply fill the details below and email this information to me at terences@SilverHairsClub.com.

1. Name:
2. Address (which area in Singapore):
3. Mobile tel:
4. What kind of part-time work are you looking for? (10 lines) :
5. When are you available? eg which days of the week and what are the times? :
6. What is your expected compensation? eg $ xx per hour or per day or per month :

For members who are working in organisations, and have a need for part-time staff, please let me know the company name, the contact person, tel, email address and job type.  I am sure many retirees will benefit from your recommendation and effort.  Ideas and suggestions welcome.

With effect from 1 July 2012, job postings will not be allowed on this forum by individual members.  However, corporate members can continue to do so.

Thank you for your time.

Part-time work opportunities for retirees – Nannies

Under the Blue Helmet project, we discussed opportunities for SilverHairs to remain active, make use of their skills and experience, stay in contact with the world and be able to be compensated for the part-time work.  To be honest, we have not been successful, due to companies not accepting over 45s in their payroll.

Eldersitters was identified as one area to go into, whereby fit and healthy seniors offer companionship services to elderlies in their homes.  We have since identified a pool of eldersitters, and will be starting our advertising programs soon.

At yesterday’s SHC monthly gathering, a couple of ladies discussed the possibility of offering nanny services or confinement care ladies during the weeks before and the one/two months after delivery to young couples who need help during an important time of their lives.  I thought this is a wonderful suggestion, and would like to pick this idea up.  However, I am not a woman, so I dont know what is involved and required.  My wife had the help of her sister, but what about the many young families who may be searching around for a confinement lady.

I am sure many SilverHairs ladies retired have experience in this area of birth and looking after newly born babies.  Please share your thoughts on this project.  If it makes sense, we can offer this as a service to young families in Singapore.

And, if you like to be a confinement lady or nanny, please contact terences@SilverHairsClub.com.  If you can state some of your experiences, this would be great.

On the same note, if you are looking for a confinement lady or nanny for your married children, please do contact me too at the same email.

Under this project, if we go ahead, this will be paid services.  If you like to manage this service, do let me know.  This project will be directed to SilverHairs Enterprise PL.

Think outside the Box.

Time for a laugh, too long has this post been quiet. Start cracking your heads and share your viewpoints who the man will marry!!!

Courtesy from Mega.

Dan

A man wanted to get married.  He was having trouble choosing among three likely candidates.  He gives each woman a present of $5,000 and watches to see what they do with the money.

The first does a total makeover.  She goes to a fancy beauty salon, gets her hair done, new makeup;  buys several new outfits and dresses up very nicely for the man.  She tells him that she has done this to be more attractive for him because she loves him so much.

The man was impressed.

The second goes shopping to buy the man gifts.  She gets him a new set of golf clubs, some new gizmos for his computer, and some expensive clothes.  As she presents these gifts, she tells him that she has spent all the money on him because she loves him so much..

Again, the man is impressed.

The third invests the money in the stock market.  She earns several times the $5,000.  She gives him back his $5,000 and reinvests the remainder in a joint account.  She tells him that she wants to save for their future because she loves him so much.

Obviously, the man was impressed.

The man thought for a long time about what each woman had done with the money he’d given her.

A “Family Day” in the thinking, before end 2012

Ever since the Club started, we have always maintained that all its activities can only be attended by members, and that attendees must be 45 and over.  This rule will continue to be adopted.

However, many SHC members are still young, and may have young children or grandchildren to look after. There are also cases where their brothers and sisters are still young, below 45.  And, of course, there are the grandfathers or grandmothers who are not able to participate in SHC; but from time to time, may want to enjoy a family day, with other grandparents.

The objective of the Family Day is to provide an occasion and place whereby family members get to meet other family members over a 2D1N or 3D2N affair.

  1. First, as a rule, we will continue to maintain the over 45 age and events can only be attended by registered members.
  2. Second, after some feedback from senior members, I am thinking that we can have a Family day.  This will be held once a year; we can have a committee.  Venue and price will have to be approved, prior to the acceptance of a Family Day.  In principle, the cost should be reasonable and low. Activities will be organised by an organising committee.  Every item or event must be organised by a SHC member, no external individuals or company.
  3. Third, the Family day will be open to members of SilverHairsClub, their brothers, sisters, grandfather and grandmother, children and grandchildren.
  4. Fourth, where possible, during the Family Day, there should be events for SHC members who come along and want to meet up with other SHC members only.

To set the ball rolling, and to set the concept right from the beginning, I would take the lead in the first Family Day.  Future EOs of family day will be appointed.  So, let’s get the ball running.

  • The first event will have to be held where there is a seaside.  There should also be a swimming pool.
  • The dates should cover a (Fri, Sat or Sun) or (Sat, Sun or Mon).
  • The venue should have accommodation, twin, family or dorm.
  • Food and drinks should be provided by the venue; or organised by the committee.  Eats can include BBQ, buffets, and cooking sessions.
  • Accepted young activities should include beach and water games, ball games, swimming pool, athlete sports, walks, card and indoor games.  An event will only proceed if there is an organiser or activity leader.
  • Accepted adult activities can include karaoke, talentime, meditation, talks, grooming, dancing, fishing or snorkelling.
  • There should be no plans for shopping or city tours.

We will take the next two months to work on the following:

  • The location, which would be outside Singapore, maybe in Johore.
  • We would target 80 pax in two coaches or even 120 pax in three coaches.
  • Preferably outside rainy season.
  • A target price would be SGD 100 or lower per person, twin sharing.  A discount for participants staying in shared accommodation.
  • The date should be this year, before end 2012.
  • If you like to volunteer to organise an activity, feel free to raise your hand.

Let’s crack and brainstorm, from now to 15 Aug 2012.  Thank you to members who did the initial groundwork and discussion.

Terence Seah

Updates:

  1. Members can pool car resources and drive to the Family day.  The coach fee will be taken off. Do share the petrol and toll fees.
  2. The most likely venue for now is Desaru area.
